Q: Is it permissible to narrate the merits and excellences of the Infallibles, peace be upon them? Can we make mention of some narrations in religious gatherings without verifying the chains of the transmission [isnad] of those traditions?
A: Even if the chain of a narration is classified as da’if (weak) according to Hadith terminology, if religious scholars have accepted the hadith and it is in conformity with the general and unrestricted import of authentic traditions, then it would suffice as a proof.
