In a hadith narrated from the Prophet of God, peace be upon him and his family, he states:
«فاطمة سيّدة نساء أهل الجنّه»
“Fatimah is the leader of the women of Paradise.”
This hadith, with variations in wording, is mentioned in several books, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Musnad Hanbal, KhaSaʾiS Nisaʾi, Musnad Abi Dawud al-Tayalisi, Mustadrak al-Hakim al-Nayshaburi, Sahih al-Tirmidhi, Sahih Ibn Majah, and other sources. Now, the question arises: What did the Ummah do to this Lady after the Prophet of God, peace be upon him and his family, passed away?!
Sahih al-Bukhari 4/209, Kitab Badʾ al-Khalq, Bab Manaqib Qarabat Rasul Allah; al-KhaSaʾiS 34; Musnad Abi Dawud al-Tayalisi 197; Sahih Muslim 7/143; al-Tabaqat 2/40; Musnad Ahmad 6/282; Hilyat al-Awliyaʾ 2/39; al-Mustadrak 3/151; Sahih Ibn Majah 1/518; Sunan al-Tirmidhi 5/326.
